Re: Drama Possibility
Love, love, love it. I think it would be awesome if it faded into the alanis song at the end. I'm seeing Chris Schenck and Anna Hurley with Katie as the therapist...?

Re: Drama Possibility
I've just never seen Chris act. Frank Palmeiri could do it, but I'd rather find a Collision person. I would imagine if Chris can't do it, he will let us know when you ask him, so I'd say give it a shot. As for Anna, I think she'd do fine, but being a vocalist, I would rather get someone that isn't in the band to do it. Brianna Harrison is a possibility, Grace maybe? Katie could definitely do the therapist, or the teenager for that matter. :-)

Unfortunately, I think we are going to have to can this. I haven't been able to get people to commit and Katie is going to be out of town as well. I definitely want to use this in the future... do we try to find a video clip with the same tension to lead into the song??

The first movie that comes to mind is 10 Things I Hate About You...

Re: Drama Possibility
There's also some really good stuff about the extremes teenagers will go to to fit in with the popular crowd in the movie "Thirteen" - although that is probably a little to hard core/too much language for our crowd.
What about Friday Night Lights? I recall a scene with Tim McGraw where he and his son get into it over how well his son is playing football. He duct tapes the ball to his son's hands.
Also, a scene in She's All That where the main character (guy) confronts his dad about his college choices.
Any of these sounding good?

Another suggestion.... Centerstage (it's about ballet dancers studying at the American Ballet School in NYC) Girly, I know, but it has a good point.
Go to this clip on Youtube and start watching around 3:11. The mom is watching her daughter's senior recital at the school where all the national scouts come to watch and hire graduates for their companies. When the number starts, though, the mom realizes her daughter isn't up on stage and has been replaced with someone else...

There's some profanity - either can be beeped out, or we can warn people...
Thoughts?

Also, I thought of the scene from last weeks new 90210 where the mom comes to tell the daughter all the agents are there to see her perform in the musical and then the daughter gets drunk or high and can't go on, gets replaced and the mother is furious?? similar to centerstage. doesn't matter to me- centerstage is obviously an easier clip to get.

Re: Drama Possibility
The centerstage works because of the issues with the mother. That was the strength of the drama for me. Curran also had a clip idea from Forest Gump, the bus scene where no one will let him sit with them.
