an announcement

I was so touched by the movie (I put details on my facebook status and sent emails) that I saw yesterday called "Fireproof". I had not heard of it, but it was awesome. Can you mention encouraging people to see the movie. I know lots of churches are announcing it, since it's a Christian movie with a wonderful topic and message. Just a thought!

What if we organized this as an event? We could do it Thursday night the 23rd at Tinseltown at 7:10pm or at the Avenues at 6:45pm. Just suggested times. It looks like it won't be in theaters next friday that I can find.

IT's good, but I can't attend. I'll be at the Creekside/Mandarin JV game or Makaela's band recital thingamajig.

John is out of town and I won't be able to go either. I'm trying to get him to go this Friday, but he is resisting. I'm just praying about it. I do think it is a good idea, even a good idea for a teaching down the road. I bought the book, Love Dare, which is the book in the movie that he uses to change his life. It's an amazing book that you do each day. It could be a great teaching using video clips from the movie and a call to action with the book. It may tie in nicely with the Love Languages thing you briefly discussed.
